Ingredients

  • 1 bunch fresh spinach
  • 1 jar Paul Newman's Sockaroni spaghetti sauce
  • 1 jar Golden Grain marinara sauce
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1/2 lb. ground beef
  • 1 pt. cottage cheese
  • 1 c. Parmesan cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 3 boxes Golden Grain stuff-a-roni

Method

  • Soak spinach until all sand is removed.
  • Set aside to dry. Brown beef and chopped onion.
  • Add sauces, both jars.
  • Tear spinach.
  • Add 2 handfuls to sauce.
  • Simmer while stuffing manicotti.
  • To stuff, mix 1 pint cottage cheese, 1 cup Parmesan cheese, egg and 1 handful finely torn spinach.
  • Stuff mixture into stuff-a-roni's and place in ungreased 13 x 5-inch or 13 x 9-inch baking dish.
  • Cover with sauce.
  • Use all sauce and bake, covered, 1 hour at 350°.
