Ingredients
- 4 medium onions, thinly sliced and separated into rings (2 c.)
- 2 Tbsp. margarine
- 2 (14 1/2 oz.) cans beef broth
- 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1 c. plain croutons
- 1 c. shredded Swiss cheese
Method
- In 2-quart casserole, cook onions in margarine on High 8 to 10 minutes or until onions are very tender, stirring once.
- Stir in beef broth, Worcestershire sauce and pepper.
- Cook, covered, on High about 8 minutes.
- Spoon into bowls.
- Top each serving with croutons and cheese.
