Ingredients
- 1 c. chili sauce
- 3/4 c. water
- 1/4 c. lemon juice
- 1 3/8 oz. onion soup mix
- 1/2 c. packed brown sugar
- 1 tsp. dry mustard
- 1/8 tsp. garlic powder
Method
- Combine all ingredients in medium glass bowl.
- Cook at High for 5 minutes and at Medium-low for 8 to 10 minutes.
- Stir occasionally.
- Sauce should be slightly thickened.
- Use as basting sauce on chicken, ribs, hamburgers, etc.
- Yields 2 cups.
