Ingredients

  • 3 (16 oz.) cans baked beans
  • 1/2 cup dark brown sugar (firmly packed)
  • 1 Tbsp. prepared brown mustard
  • 1 small onion (chopped)
  • 1/4 cup catsup

Method

  • In a 2 quart microwave safe dish, place onions and cover with vented plastic wrap and microwave for 2 minutes on high, until onions are soft.
  • Add beans, brown sugar, catsup and mustard.
  • Mix well.
  • Cover with vented plastic wrap and microwave at high for 6 minutes stirring once.
  • Uncover and continue to microwave on high for another 6 minutes.
  • Stir before serving.
