Ingredients
- 1 lb. fresh asparagus spears, ends trimmed
- 1 Tbsp. fines herbes
- 2 to 3 oz. Swiss cheese, sliced
Method
- Put asparagus spears into a 10 x 6-inch microwave dish.
- Add 1/4 cup water.
- Sprinkle with fines herbes.
- Microwave on Medium-High until almost cooked, about 11 minutes.
- Drain water. Place sliced cheese on top of asparagus spears.
- Cover again. Microwave on Medium-High until cheese melts, about 1 to 2 minutes.
