Ingredients
- 3/4 c. butter
- 1 c. packed brown sugar
- 3/4 c. finely chopped almonds
- 1/2 c. chocolate chips
- 1 c. chopped nuts
Method
- Microwave butter and sugar in glass bowl on High for 1 minute. Beat until smooth.
- Microwave 4 minutes, then stir in 1/2 cup chopped nuts.
- Microwave another 2 minutes or until thick.
- Beat with wire whisk.
- Pour into 8 x 8-inch pan lined with buttered foil.
- Sprinkle chocolate chips.
- Let stand covered for 4 minutes. Spread chips and sprinkle with 1/2 cup nuts.
- Let sit until chocolate is firm.
- Peel off foil and break into pieces.
- Store in fridge.
