Ingredients

  • 3/4 c. butter
  • 1 c. packed brown sugar
  • 3/4 c. finely chopped almonds
  • 1/2 c. chocolate chips
  • 1 c. chopped nuts

Method

  • Microwave butter and sugar in glass bowl on High for 1 minute. Beat until smooth.
  • Microwave 4 minutes, then stir in 1/2 cup chopped nuts.
  • Microwave another 2 minutes or until thick.
  • Beat with wire whisk.
  • Pour into 8 x 8-inch pan lined with buttered foil.
  • Sprinkle chocolate chips.
  • Let stand covered for 4 minutes. Spread chips and sprinkle with 1/2 cup nuts.
  • Let sit until chocolate is firm.
  • Peel off foil and break into pieces.
  • Store in fridge.
