Ingredients

  • 3 c. corn tortilla chips
  • 15 oz. can chili with beans
  • 1/2 c. chopped onion
  • 2 c. shredded Cheddar, American or Monterey Jack cheese
  • shredded or chopped lettuce
  • tomatoes and olives

Method

  • Heat oven to 400°.
  • Lightly grease a 9-inch square pan or 1 1/2-quart shallow casserole dish.
  • Layer half the corn chips, chili, onion and cheese in pan; repeat.
  • Bake, uncovered, at 400° for 15 minutes or until hot.
  • Garnish with lettuce, tomatoes and olives.
  • Makes 4 servings.
