- 2 lb. hamburger
- 1/2 c. chopped onion
- 1 small can tomato sauce
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 can Cheddar cheese soup
- 1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 1 tsp. ground cumin
- 3/4 tsp. chili pepper
- 1 (4 oz.) can chopped green chilies
- 1 tsp. garlic salt
- tortillas
Method
- Brown hamburger with onion; drain well.
- Add soups, seasonings and green chilies.
- Layer into a greased 2-quart casserole dish. Start bottom layer with tortillas, layer of hamburger mixture and continue to layer with tortillas, ending with tortillas as last layer.
- Top with shredded cheese. Bake at 350°
- for 30 to 40 minutes.
- For extra zip, add some picante sauce.
