Ingredients
- 1/2 c. chopped onion
- 1 Tbsp. butter or margarine
- 2 (15 oz.) cans chili with beans
- 1 can whole kernel corn, drained
- 1 can tomatoes
- 1 (8 oz.) pkg. corn meal mix
- 1 c. (4 oz.) Cheddar cheese (optional)
Method
- Saute onions in butter or oleo.
- Add chili, corn and tomatoes; mix.
- Pour in baking dish.
- Prepare corn meal mix per directions on box.
- Add cheese to mix.
- Pour corn meal mix over the ingredients.
- Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.
- Makes 8 to 10 servings.
