Ingredients
- 2 tbsp. butter
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 c. lowfat milk
- 2 tbsp. flour
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper
Method
- Heat butter over low heat in a heavy saucepan.
- Blend in flour, seasonings.
- Cook over low heat stirring constantly till mix is smooth and bubbly.
- Medium sauce is like thick cream, used for creamed dishes or possibly scalloped dishes.
