Ingredients
- 2 lb. lean ground beef
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 2 tsp. vinegar
- pinch of salt
- 2 tsp. water
- 1 tsp. soy sauce
- 1 tsp. vegetable oil
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 2 tsp. cornstarch
Method
- Shape into small balls.
- Fry in hot oil until brown.
- Remove from pan and pour off excess fat.
- Add garlic, soy sauce, vinegar, sugar and salt.
- Bring to a boil.
- Add meatballs and simmer for 5 minutes.
- Thicken with cornstarch, mixed with water.
- Cook until liquid thickens and gets clear.
- Makes about 100 meat balls.
