Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1/4 c. chopped parsley or less
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/8 tsp. pepper
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 clove garlic (optional)
  • 1/2 small onion, grated
  • 1 c. soft fine bread crumbs
  • 3 Tbsp. water
  • 2 Tbsp. Parmesan cheese
  • 2 Tbsp. salad oil
  • 1 can tomato sauce or your favorite spaghetti sauce

Method

  • Combine all ingredients except salad oil and tomato sauce. Shape into balls of desired size.
  • Brown in vegetable oil; dip out and drain.
  • Add tomato sauce; simmer 30 minutes.
  • Serve over spaghetti.
