Ingredients
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 2 slices fresh bread
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
Method
- Break up bread in a bowl and moisten with hot water.
- Beat egg and add seasoning and mix thoroughly.
- Add bread mixture to meat and mix.
- Add egg mixture and blend well.
- Add small amount of milk to mixture to make a smooth consistency.
- Pour into loaf pan and shape.
- Bake at 350° for 1 hour.
