Ingredients
- 1 1/2 lb. ground beef
- 4 slices white bread
- 1 egg
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
Method
- Combine all ingredients, breaking bread into small pieces before adding.
- Shape in casserole or large loaf pan.
- Spread cream of mushroom soup, straight from can, on top with back of spoon.
- Bake at 350° for about 1 hour.
- Serves about 6.
