Ingredients

  • 1 green pepper
  • 1 med. onion
  • 2 tbsp. butter
  • 1 can undiluted chicken and rice soup
  • 1 can undiluted tomato soup
  • 1 can water
  • 1 1/2 pound grnd beef
  • 2 slices of bread
  • 1/4 c. evaporated Pet lowfat milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • Pepper to taste

Method

  • Saute/fry green pepper and onion in butter.
  • Add in undiluted soups and water.
  • Heat to boiling.
  • Simmer for 5 min.
  • Mix grnd beef, bread, broken in small pcs, evaporated lowfat milk, egg, salt and pepper.
  • Mix well and shape in ping pong size balls.
  • Drop in simmering sauce.
  • Cook about 1 hour or possibly 45 min if done to satisfaction.
  • Serve over noodles.
  • Easy and good.
