- 1/2 lb. ground beef
- 1/2 c. finely chopped onion
- 1 tsp. minced garlic (1 clove)
- 1 c. canned red kidney beans, drained
- 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
- 1/2 c. chili sauce
- 1 tsp. dried oregano leaves
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 4 medium baking potatoes
- 1/2 c. grated Cheddar cheese
Method
- In a medium skillet, cook ground beef, onion and garlic until meat is brown.
- Add remaining ingredients, except potatoes and cheese.
- Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer for 30 minutes.
