Ingredients
- 1 c. heavy cream, not whipped
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 1/3 c. plain flour
- 1/2 stick butter or oleo
- 1 large can crushed pineapple, drained
- 4 large apples, pared and diced
- 1 c. chopped nuts
Method
- Sift flour and sugar together.
- Mix in cream and pineapple. Cook in double boiler or heavy saucepan until thick.
- Remove from fire and add oleo and cool.
- Pour over diced apples and nuts. Dressing may be made in advance and refrigerated.
