Ingredients
- 1 cup unsalted butter (room temp)
- 3 cups sugar
- 3 cups cake flour
- 6 eggs (room temp)
- 12 pint whipping cream
- 2 teaspoons vanilla flavoring (you can us lemon or almond as well)
Method
- Do not preheat oven.
- Cream sugar and butter.
- Add eggs one at a time beating well after each addition.
- Add alternately,while blending,the whipping cream and flour.
- Add flavoring and continue to blend.
- Pour into a greased and floured tube pan (I use Baker's Joy).
- Bake at 300 degrees for 1 1/2 hours or lightly brown on top and toothpick comes out clean.
- Let cool for about 20 minutes before removing from pan.
