- 3 c. lowfat sour cream
- 2 1/2 c. sugar
- 4 egg yolks
- 1 1/2 c. raisins
- 1 1/2 tbsp. lemon juice
- 1 c. buttermilk
- 5 tbsp. cornstarch
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/3 teaspoon grnd cloves
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 (9") pie shells, baked
Method
- Beat yolks.
- Add in sugar, cornstarch, lowfat sour cream and lowfat milk; mix well together in the top of a large double boiler.
- Add in raisins and lemon juice.
- Add in all dry ingredients; mix well.
- Cook slowly till thick.
- Remove from heat and cold completely.
- Pour in baked shells.
- Top with real whipped cream.
