Ingredients

  • 3 c. lowfat sour cream
  • 2 1/2 c. sugar
  • 4 egg yolks
  • 1 1/2 c. raisins
  • 1 1/2 tbsp. lemon juice
  • 1 c. buttermilk
  • 5 tbsp. cornstarch
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/3 teaspoon grnd cloves
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 (9") pie shells, baked

Method

  • Beat yolks.
  • Add in sugar, cornstarch, lowfat sour cream and lowfat milk; mix well together in the top of a large double boiler.
  • Add in raisins and lemon juice.
  • Add in all dry ingredients; mix well.
  • Cook slowly till thick.
  • Remove from heat and cold completely.
  • Pour in baked shells.
  • Top with real whipped cream.
