Ingredients
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 12 teaspoon salt
- 1 dash white pepper
- 1 cup water
- 2 teaspoons lemon juice
Method
- Melt butter in small sauce pan over medium heat.
- Stir in flour, salt and pepper.
- Blend well.
- Whisking constantly, gradually add water.
- Cook until smooth and thick.
- Add lemon juice.
- Serve over asparagus, broccoli or fish.
