Ingredients

  • Liquid smoke
  • 2 tbsp. soy sauce
  • Garlic salt
  • Onion salt
  • Celery salt
  • Lea & Perrin

Method

  • Rub seasoning on brisket of about 3 to 4 pounds.
  • Make sure you rub both sides.
  • Wrap in foil and let stand overnight.
  • Put rack in roaster.
  • Place over water in pan and cook about 300 degrees for about 3 to 3 1/2 hrs.
  • After meat is tender, open foil and get several Tbsp.
  • of juice from brisket and mix with sauce.
  • Pour over the roast and cook for about 30 more min at 250 degrees.
  • When serving meat, heat the sauce and put on table so which can be based while eating.
