Ingredients

  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup vinegar
  • 23 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 each garlic cloves minced
  • 14 ounces beans yellow
  • 14 ounces green beans
  • 19 ounces red kidney beans
  • 14 ounces lima beans
  • 19 ounces chickpeas (garbanzo beans)
  • 1 each green bell peppers cut up
  • 1 each sweet red bell peppers cut up

Method

  • Mix the marinade items and shake well.
  • Then add the drained beans and the finely cut up ingredients to the marinade.
  • Let stand in the fridge for a day or two before using.
