Ingredients

  • Olive Oil
  • 1/4 cups Maple Syrup
  • 1 teaspoon Dijpn Mustard
  • 1/4 teaspoons Thyme
  • 1 dash Pepper
  • 24 ounces, weight King Atlantic Salmon

Method

  • Brush grill with olive oil and set to medium heat.
  • In a small bowl, add maple syrup, mustard, thyme and pepper; mix well; set aside.
  • Sprinkle both the sides of the salmon with ground pepper (just a light dusting).
  • Place salmon on the grill.
  • If salmon has skin, cook with skin side up for 1 minutes, just to get grill marks on salmon.
  • Then flip salmon and cook for about 5 7 minutes, until the flesh starts to flake easily when tested with a fork or until desired degree of doneness.
  • Brush the salmon with maple glaze and serve immediately.
