Ingredients

  • 1 whole boneless, skinless chicken breast
  • potato chips or crackers
  • 1 egg
  • 2 Tbsp. milk

Method

  • Preheat oven to 400°.
  • Have a grown-up help you cut the chicken into finger-size pieces.
  • Fill a large, Ziploc bag with potato chips or crackers.
  • Seal it shut.
  • Crush the chips or crackers by banging on them with the back of a wooden spoon.
  • In a small bowl, beat the egg and milk with a fork.
  • Dip the chicken pieces into the egg mixture, then place them, one piece at a time, into the bag.
  • Shake each gently to cover with the chips or crackers. Place the coated chicken pieces on an ungreased cookie sheet.
  • With the help of a parent, place in the oven.
  • Bake for 10 minutes, then turn over the pieces.
  • Bake for another 10 minutes. Dip the fingers into barbecue sauce, salsa or your favorite sauce. Serves 2.
