Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. oriental flavored Ramen noodles
  • 1/2 c. sliced almonds
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1/2 c. olive oil
  • 3 Tbsp. white vinegar
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1/8 tsp. hot sauce
  • 1 head romaine lettuce, chopped
  • 3 celery stalks, chopped
  • 11 oz. can mandarin oranges, drained

Method

  • Remove packet of seasoning from Ramen noodles and mix with sugar, oil, salt, pepper, and hot sauce.
  • Set aside.
  • Crumble noodles and bake with almonds at 350° for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Remove from oven and cool.
  • Toss together lettuce and celery.
  • Add baked noodles, almonds, liquid mixture and mandarin oranges.
  • Serve immediately.
