Ingredients
- 1/2 lb. butter
- 3 c. sugar
- 3 c. plain flour
- 6 eggs (room temperature)
- 1 c. whipping cream
- 2 tsp. vanilla
Method
- Cream butter and sugar until light; add eggs, one at a time and beat well.
- Add in flour, one cup at a time.
- Alternate with cream, then add vanilla.
- Pour in pan.
- Bake in 300° oven for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
