Ingredients
- 2 c. milk
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 stick oleo
- 5 c. flour
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 1 pkg. dry yeast
Method
- Heat milk, sugar and oleo until oleo and sugar are dissolved. Sift together 3 c. flour, salt, baking powder, and soda.
- Add dry yeast.
- Add to warm milk mixture.
- Beat all together well.
- Then add rest of flour and mix well.
- Refrigerate dough overnight in well greased bowl.
- Roll out dough while you divide in half.
- Brush with melted oleo.
- Cut in size desired.
- Fold over half.
- Let rise until double, about 2 hrs. after placed in pan.
- Bake at 450 degrees for 12 to 14 minutes.
