Ingredients
- 3 egg yolks
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 large whole egg
- 2 c. flour, sifted
- 3 Tbsp. cold water
- small hunk butter, melted
- little baking powder
Method
- Beat the egg yolks and whole egg until well mixed.
- Beat in cold water and salt.
- Stir the flour in with a spoon.
- The dough will be stiff, and you may have to knead in last of flour.
- Divide dough in 3 parts.
- Roll very thin, then cover with cloth until partially dry.
- Roll up as for jelly roll, then slice with sharp knife.
- Shake out strips; allow to dry before using.
