Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. macaroni and cheese dinner
  • 1 small green pepper
  • 1 small onion
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 2 Tbsp. olive oil
  • 1 (4 1/2 oz.) can chopped ripe olives
  • 1 (8 oz.) can golden whole kernel sweet corn
  • 2 (1 lb.) cans tomatoes
  • 1 tsp. salt

Method

  • Dice green pepper, onion and garlic.
  • Saute with ground beef in olive oil.
  • Add uncooked macaroni.
  • Add remaining ingredients, reserving small amount of olives for garnishing top.
  • Stir in cheese sauce.
  • Cover tightly.
  • Cook on high heat until steaming freely, then turn to lowest heat for 25 to 30 minutes or until all ingredients are cooked to desired tenderness.
  • Stir occasionally. Serve in skillet.
