Ingredients
- 1 lb. macaroni, cooked
- 8 oz. evaporated milk
- 1 stick margarine
- 5 heaping Tbsp. flour
- 8 oz. x-sharp Cheddar, chopped
- 5 slices American cheese
- 1/2 c. sharp Cheddar
- 1/3 c. bread crumbs
- salt and pepper to taste
Method
- Sauce:
- Pour 3 cups evaporated milk in saucepan.
- Supplement last 1 1/4 cups with water.
- Add 5 heaping tablespoons flour and stir out all lumps.
- Add salt and pepper to taste.
- Place 1 stick margarine in saucepan and stir over medium-low flame until thickened.
