Ingredients
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 1 tsp. salt
- 2 1/2 c. shredded extra sharp Cheddar cheese
- 2 c. elbow macaroni
Method
- Cook macaroni and drain.
- In saucepan, melt butter.
- Remove from heat; blend in flour and salt.
- Add milk and heat, stirring constantly until it thickens.
- Add 1 1/2 cups of cheese; melt. Combine with macaroni in casserole and top with remaining 1/2 cup of shredded cheese.
- Bake at 375° for 20 to 25 minutes.
