Ingredients
- 8 oz. elbow macaroni
- 4 Tbsp. unsalted butter
- salt and pepper to taste
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 3 c. grated Cheddar cheese
- 2 c. half and half
- 1/4 c. dry unseasoned bread crumbs
Method
- Preheat oven to
- 375°. Butter a
- 2 quart casserole or baking dish.
- Cook
- the macaroni in boiling salted water until tender, 8 to 10
- minutes.
- Drain
- well
- and toss with 3 tablespoons of the butter.
