Ingredients
- pastry and lattice top for 8-inch pie
- 3 c. pitted tart cherries
- 1 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. flour
- 4 drops almond extract
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. butter
Method
- Mix cherries together with sugar, flour, extract and salt. Pour into pastry shell.
- Dot with butter.
- Place lattice top on, sealing with water and crimping edges high.
- Bake at 350° until brown or done.
