Ingredients
- 4 tilapia fillets-about 6 oz. each
- 10 oz macadamia nuts
- 2 clove garlic
- 1 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp hot sauce
- 1 tbsp olive oil
Method
- Combine macadamia nuts, soy sauce, garlic, hot sauce, brown sugar, olive oil, and black pepper in food processor; blend until mixture is the consistent paste.
- Spoon a thick layer of the mixture on top of each tilapia fillet.
- Place the fish macadamia mixture side up on prepared baking sheet.
- Under the broiler, cook the fish until macadamia crust is golden brown and the tilapia flakes easily, about 15 minutes.
