Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground pork
  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 c. onion, chopped
  • 1 lb. shrimp, chopped
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 c. mushrooms, chopped
  • 1 c. carrots, grated
  • 1/2 c. green onions, minced
  • 4 Tbsp. shoyu
  • 6 gloves garlic, minced
  • salt, pepper and m.s.g. to taste

Method

  • Mix pork and beef together.
  • Add chopped onion and saute.
  • Add shrimp and cook 1 more minute. Add beaten eggs and cool. Add mushrooms, carrots, onion, shoyu, salt and pepper.
  • Mix well. Wrap in lumpia wrappers.
  • Use only about 1 heaping tablespoonful on a wrapper. Always cool filling before wrapping, otherwise wrapper will fall apart.
  • Deep fry until golden brown.
