Ingredients

  • 1 c. all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp. baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
  • 1/3 c. margarine
  • 3/4 c. packed brown sugar
  • 2 egg whites
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 1/2 c. Kellogg's low-fat granola cereal

Method

  • Combine flour, soda, salt and spices.
  • Set aside.
  • In large mixing bowl, beat margarine and sugar until light and fluffy.
  • Add egg whites and vanilla.
  • Beat well.
  • Stir in flour mixture, mixing until well combined.
  • Add cereal.
  • Drop by level measuring tablespoon onto baking sheet coated with cooking spray.
  • Bake at 375° for 9 to 12 minutes until edges start to turn brown.
  • Cool on wire racks.
