Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1/2 c. chopped onion
  • 1 (15 1/2 oz.) can chili with beans
  • 1 can refrigerated biscuits
  • 1 (16 oz.) can whole kernel corn
  • 1 (4 oz.) pkg. chili seasoning mix
  • 1 c. (4 oz.) shredded Cheddar cheese
  • cornmeal

Method

  • Crumble beef into heated skillet and cook over moderate heat until meat loses red color.
  • Add onion during the last 5 minutes of cooking time.
  • Drain off grease.
  • Add corn, chili and seasoning mix.
  • Mix well and simmer, covered, while preparing biscuits.
