Ingredients

  • 3 carrots - sliced
  • 3 stalks celery - sliced
  • 1/2 onion - sliced
  • 4 cloves garlic - chopped
  • 9 ounces frozen creamed spinach box of
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • olive oil Drizzle of
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese
  • 1 dash salt
  • 1 dash black pepper
  • 1 dash nutmeg
  • 1 dash red pepper flakes
  • 1 pound noodles your favorite

Method

  • Heat a large frying pan with a tablespoon of butter and a drizzle of olive oil. Add the carrots, celery, onions and garlic. Saute until the onions are soft. Add the frozen spinach with the heat on low to soften.
  • When the spinach is incorporated; add the chicken broth and simmer on low.
  • Add the milk, parmesan cheese and the seasonings continue to simmer on low for a few minutes then set aside while preparing the noodles.
  • Add the noodles to the spinach sauce. Garnish with grated cheese.
