Ingredients
- 1 c. milk
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. shortening
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 pkg. yeast
- 1 c. warm water
- 2 eggs
- 3 c. flour
Method
- Scald milk and let cool.
- Stir in sugar, shortening and salt. Dissolve yeast in warm water and beat in egg. Combine with milk and beat well.
- Sift in flour or enough to make a soft dough.
- Mix well and place in a greased bowl. Cover and allow to rise. Spoon into muffin tin.
- Bake at 375° for 20 minutes.
