Ingredients

  • Cake:
  • 1 package yellow or lemon cake mix
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 (6 ounce) can frozen lemonade concentrate, thawed
  • 3 tablespoons cream cheese
  • 3 eggs
  • Glaze:
  • 1/2 cup powdered lemonade mix
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 2 cups confectioners sugar
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted

Method

  • Instructions for the cake: Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
  • Grease and flour a 9x13 inch pan. Combine the cake mix, sour cream, frozen lemonade concentrate, cream cheese and eggs. Mix at low speed until moist. Then at medium speed for 2 minutes.
  • Pour batter into the prepared pan and bake for 30-35 minutes or until cake tests done.
  • Cool for 5 minutes.
  • Instructions for the glaze: Combine the lemonade mix, water and confectioners sugar.
  • Add the melted butter slowly and blend well.
  • Prick the cake with a fork. Pour glaze over the still warm cake.
