Ingredients
- 1 c. sugar
- 3 Tbsp. flour
- 1/4 c. lemon juice
- 1/4 c. butter, melted
- 3 egg yolks
- 1 c. milk
- 1 carton sour cream
- whipped cream (for topping)
- stemmed cherries (for topping)
- tart shells
Method
- Combine first 5 ingredients in saucepan; stir in milk.
- Cook over medium heat, stirring, until thick.
- Cool.
- Fold in sour cream.
- Chill.
- Serve in pastry shells.
- Serves 6 to 8 dessert-size shells.
- More in smaller shells.
