Ingredients
- 3 Tbsp. flour
- 3 Tbsp. margarine
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 3 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 2 tsp. lemon peel
- 2 egg yolks
- 1 c. milk
- 2 egg whites
- 1/4 c. sugar
Method
- Combine flour, margarine, sugar (3/4 cup), lemon juice and peel.
- Add beaten egg yolks, then add milk, a little at a time. In another bowl, beat egg whites until stiff.
- Add sugar (1/4 cup).
- Fold egg whites into first mixture.
- Pour into 6 lightly greased custard cups.
- Place cups in pan of hot water.
- Bake at 350° for 35 minutes.
- When baked, it has cakelike portion on top and creamy pudding under it.
