Ingredients
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 3 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 3/4 c. water
- 1 Tbsp. butter
- 1/3 c. lemon juice
- grated rind of 2 lemons
- 2 egg yolks
Method
- Mix the first 4 ingredients in a saucepan and bring to a boil. Add the butter, lemon juice and grated rinds. Beat yolks and add half of mixture to yolks.
- Pour back in saucepan and boil 1 minute.
