Ingredients
- 1 c. sugar
- 1/4 c. cornstarch
- 1 1/2 c. cold water
- 3 egg yolks, slightly beaten
- 1/4 c. lemon juice
- 1 Tbsp. margarine
- baked pie shell
- 3 egg whites
- 1 c. sugar
Method
- In double boiler, cook 1 cup sugar, cornstarch and cold water until thick.
- Add egg yolks with cooked mixture.
- Remove from heat.
- Stir in lemon juice and margarine.
- Spoon hot filling into baked pie shell.
