Ingredients

  • 1 pound Shrimp, Peeled And Deveined
  • 1- 1/2 teaspoon Olive Oil, Maybe A Little More
  • 2 cloves Garlic, Chopped
  • 1 whole Lemon, Sliced
  • 1 whole Himalayan Salt Plate

Method

  • Place salt plate on the gas cook top (or BBQ grill) and heat it on medium high for 15 minutes.
  • In a medium sized bowl toss the shrimp in a little olive oil and garlic.
  • When the salt block is very hot place the shrimp on it.
  • They cook very quicklyin about 8 minutes, so keep an eye on them.
  • Turn once.
  • Put a few lemon slices on the block and cook until lightly browned, about 5 minutes.
  • Dont salt the shrimp, they will absorb some of the salt from the block.
  • Remove cooked shrimp to a platter and serve with your favorite sides.
