Ingredients
- pastry for 9-inch two crust pie
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 3 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg or cinnamon
- 1 (8 oz.) can crushed pineapple, drained
- 2 c. rhubarb, cut in 1/2-inch pieces
- 2 c. sliced fresh strawberries
Method
- Combine all ingredients, except pastry, and let stand for 20 minutes.
- Meanwhile, prepare pastry for 9-inch pie.
- Put mixture into pie crust.
- Dot with 1 tablespoon of butter.
- Put on top crust.
- Put aluminum foil around edge.
- Bake for 35 to 45 minutes at 400°.
