Ingredients
- 1 Tbsp. margarine
- 2 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen Brussels sprouts
- 1 c. julienne cut carrots
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 3/4 tsp. basil, crushed
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- 1 Tbsp. fresh lemon juice
Method
- In large skillet over medium heat, melt margarine.
- Add Brussels sprouts, carrots, garlic, basil and pepper.
- Saute about 7 minutes until tender, stirring frequently.
- Stir in lemon juice; cook about 2 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Makes 6 servings, 2/3 cup each.
