Ingredients

  • 1 Tbsp. margarine
  • 2 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen Brussels sprouts
  • 1 c. julienne cut carrots
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 3/4 tsp. basil, crushed
  • 1/8 tsp. pepper
  • 1 Tbsp. fresh lemon juice

Method

  • In large skillet over medium heat, melt margarine.
  • Add Brussels sprouts, carrots, garlic, basil and pepper.
  • Saute about 7 minutes until tender, stirring frequently.
  • Stir in lemon juice; cook about 2 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Makes 6 servings, 2/3 cup each.
