Ingredients
- 1 can evaporated milk
- 1 pkg. lemon jello
- water
- juice and rind of 2 lemons
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 pkg. vanilla wafers
Method
- Chill can of evaporated milk overnight.
- Dissolve lemon juice in 1 cup boiling water.
- Add 3/4 cup cold water.
- Add juice and rind of lemons and sugar.
- Chill.
- Whip milk until thick; blend into jello mixture.
- Pour into glass baking dish (13 x 9-inch). Top with vanilla cookie crumbs; chill several hours.
