Ingredients
- 1/4 c. flour
- 1 c. sugar
- 1/4 c. lemon juice
- 1 c. milk
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 1/2 tsp. grated lemon rind
- 2 eggs, separated
Method
- Sift and measure flour.
- Sift together flour, sugar and salt. Add lemon.
- Beat egg yolks until light and lemon colored.
- Combine with milk.
- Stir slowly into dry ingredients.
- Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites.
- Pour into well buttered dish.
- Set in pan of water.
- Bake 35 to 40 minutes at 350°.
