Ingredients
- 1/4 c. flour
- 1 c. sugar
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 1/2 tsp. grated lemon rind
- 1/4 c. lemon juice
- 2 egg yolks, well beaten
- 1 c. milk
- 2 egg whites, stiffly beaten
Method
- Sift together flour, sugar and salt.
- Stir in 1 1/2 teaspoons grated lemon rind, lemon juice, egg yolks and milk.
- Fold in the beaten egg whites.
- Pour into 1-quart baking dish.
- Place dish into pan of water 1-inch deep.
- Bake at 350° for 50 minutes. Cool.
- Can then be refrigerated after it is cool.
